Hi I'm not sure if anyone can help but I want to convert from PSE5 up to Photshop CS3.

I've downloaded the trial version, this seems to have been ok, I've extracted the files to a desktop Adobe CS3 folder but when I try and open the program nothing (literally) happens! No error messages, start up screen or anything.

My HDD light is active for 30 seconds or so but the end product is zero.

I'm sure my laptop is up to it in terms of system req's etc.

Can anyone help?
Thanks
Wizzer

Have you removed Elements from your system? Sometimes it helps to clear up your cache and remove temp files ect just to help things run more smoothly.

If you're still having problems, consider using the CS3 cleanup script from Adobe -

http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs3clean.html

I've heard of it being used to remove left over Elements of Elements, if you know what I mean, so it may help!
