I can't figure out how to make Photoshop (CS4 - v 11.0.1) retain the 'Monitor RGB' setting as the default viewing mode. Originally PS would always default to 'Working CMYK'. Someone finally suggested setting it to Monitor RGB without any documents open - then quitting and restarting.
And, yes now the 'setting' does default to Monitor RGB. However, 'the actual viewing space' used to display is still Working CMYK (looks too warm, yellow), and every time I open a document (new or existing ) I have to go up to View>Proof Setup and re-select Monitor RGB (even though that's what it's already set at). This feels like a bug, and it's really annoying. My work is 90% for screen so this is a real issue. Anyone else experience this, know any solution? |
