I've had this problem for a while and I can't figure out how to fix it.

When I cmd+s on a file of .psd photoshop sometimes changes it to a .tif file. why? how can I make it stop?

thanks

If you last saved a tiff then it may offer up that same file type the next time you click save.

I'll notice, but I don't think so. I work with .psd mostly, but because of this end up with a lot of duplicate files, on psd and one tif.
