is it possible to move left and right on the swatch list in photoshop?

im in cs4. this would be awesome for shading...

Not that I'm aware of. It can be done in Illustrator but not Photoshop. Would be great if anyone knows a top secret way, in fact it would prove a very helpful feature for situations like you've mentioned.
