I allowed someone to use my Photoshop CS6 extended and they managed to make a real mess of the screen which bore no resemblance to the start up lay-out I had become used to. I decided the best thing was to uninstall the software and then reinstall. To my disappointment, on start up, the screen was in exactly the same mess. This is on Windows 7.

So that I could continue with some photo manipulations I again went through the uninstall process and installed CS5 extended which is running OK but I would prefer to be able to use CS6. Could someone please advise this not very bright Photoshop user on how to recover CS6, please?

I searched "Reset Photoshop Preferences."

Scroll to Photoshop Versions 5.5 and earlier.
