After I edit my photo's how do I set up for printing?
I know that I will crop my photo, then go to image size.
I was told that I need to save as the size I want printed, 5x7, 4x6, 8x10 and so on. And pixels/inch not to be over 300ppi.
Is this correct, or am I missing something?
Thanks for any help as I am NEW to PS CS4.

hi,
these are my thoughts...
1. first you need to have enough pixals...... that the priority.... regardless of what the ppi or dpi is....!!
now the following lnks have charts that tells you what the minimum pixals deminsion of a image should be for the printing size you need! to get the highest quality!!! ...... example a 360x400 pixel printed at 8x10 will look lousy!!!!!! where as a 2000x3000 will look pretty good 8x10!!

2 .now as far as the printing and dpi you can change this at the end of the work flow in my opinion... ... well the links get into that also .....

myself if using hp or canon i choose 300 dpi but if epson go with 360!!

and if yo want a more livelier discussion just bring up what the difference between dpi and ppi... smiling and how important are they to printing...!!! i try to stay out of those discussions
