I ran into this issue where I used the save for web feature and the images were 72dpi. However, the ppi was 100.

The only way to get it to 72 seems to be save as. Is there a way to change this?

I ask because we are using software that re-sizes anything over 72dpi but it appears to be reading the ppi and making the images smaller.

Thanks for any and all help,
Justin

PPI is pixels per inch. DPI is dots per inch, like in scanning or printing.
