If you ever need to save an action set as a written list of instructions then you'll want to know about this top secret little trick.

Select the action set you want to save as text, go to the wing menu, hold down CTRL + ALT (CMD + OPTION on the Mac) and select 'save actions'. The 'save as' dialogue box will come up with a default document type of a plain text file. Perfect, save it and you'll forever have a list of written instructions.

One thing to note, to my knowledge there's no way of reloading the text file as an action so make sure you always keep and back-up your action files to avoid losing them.

Give it a try, you know you want to!

This is beyond awesome! Thanks for sharing this one. I've created some actions that have 18 steps, and sometimes I don't remember the sequencing. This is great!
