When I scan a new photo into PS I get a message that nothing was imported and that the file exists in the catalog and gives a file name with Loc... 009-05-13-228-11/Image1.jpg. Under FIND, I put in the file name and it cannot be found.
Please help. I know it's not there because it's a new picture. Thanks.

It sounds like the scanning software. Check in options or preferences to make certain it will use PSE for scanned photos.

Try scanning it to your pictures first and then open it like a normal document in PS.
