|
|
From the press release:
| Quote: | | Sharp, a worldwide leader in flat-panel Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) technology, announces the September U.S. availability of the world’s largest commercially available LCD Monitor. Model LB-1085, a 108-inch class (107.5 inches Diagonal, 52.9-inches high by 93.9-inches wide) Full HD 1080p LCD Monitor, features an Advanced Super View LCD panel that is manufactured at Sharp’s Kameyama Plant No. 2, the first plant in the world to use 8th generation glass substrates. With this development, Sharp has demonstrated that it is now possible to produce LCDs in all screen size classes ranging from 19-inch class (18-61/64” Diagonal) to super-large sizes. |
Wow.
Via Engadget, who says that it looks to cost around $100,000, judging from the pricing in Japan. _________________ Patrick O'Keefe - PhotoshopForums.com Administrator

The good news is I can afford one, the bad news is I'm gonna have to sell the house to get it!
TV? House? It's a close call hehe! _________________ Matt
