I've used Fireworks for a number of years, but still struggle with it and don't find it very intuitive.
I'm very farmiliar and strong in Microsoft applications. How easy is it to learn Photoshop? And, are the benefits worth the learning curve?
Any thoughts would be appreciated, especially from some new users.
Thanks. |

I used to always use Fireworks and it is an easy program to use. I decided to switch to Photoshop CS4 because I thought I would get better results.
The learning curve is a bit longer but once you get used to it the results you will produce and the speed you can do them are great and you won't turn back. I looked around for tutorials, video ones with text and images also and sometimes the finished psd file helps. Look for Tutorials that have a good rating or good comments and do them for yourself. I think this is a good way to start learning. |
