Think we can agree, niftyned,FLASH is a better option, although surely a whole tiled page of animation would be detrimental to the viewing experience.

About the looped animation. I doubt that wouldangerousdee181 , was intending to use an animation that played once at the start.

Could be wrong and no offence eitherway.

No offence taken Hermit, I think he was probably looking at an animated header in which case flash is the perfect option and it isnt a whole page and certainly isnt detrimental to the viewing experience, in fact I think it is the opposite. Sure it will take a little longer to load than a static html page but if all web sites were static the internet would be a dull and boring place.
