Ok...Once again, I'm extremely new to photoshop, so please excuse the basic questions.

I am creating simple web 2.0 buttons for my website. When I publish the buttons on a dark background, the "transparent" background still shows. I have cropped the image as much as possible, but since it is an image created using rounded rectangle, a tiny bit of white still shows around each corner. I do know that .png and .gif are the only file types that support transparent backgrounds and that is how I am exporting the images, but the background still shows. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!
