I'm using Photoshop 7. Each time I create or open a file, two small visuals appear in the top left corner of the screen. One is a numbner, the other is what looks like an envelop.

What is the purpose of these and how do I get rid of them? I'm needing to take a screen shot and they interfer with the end product.

I've attached a small, cropped screen shot with a red arrow pointing to the offending items.

Thanks
