Hi everyone,
I'm cropping a large TIFF for printing and wondered what size I should crop it?
It needs to go into a book about A4 size
do I crop by pixel or size?

(apologies if this is answered elsewhere - I didn't find it in the search)

Many thanks,
Dan

Hi,

I believe this depends on what res you want to print at. An A4 document at 300 ppi (pixels per inch) would be 2408 x 3508 pixels. But an A4 doc at 600 ppi would be double that 4961 x 7016.

Hope that helps.
