hi,
I am not quite sure what your asking.
1. are you asking if there avail free one on one training via a im? if so I don't know of any one or any site

2. now if your asking about free resources... that a different story. there are tons of free text/w grapics tutorials and video tutorials covering all aspects of photoshop editing ..!!

a simple interent search like PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL LAYERS
or PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL CLONING , etc ... will lead you to a lot tutorials ... in addition there are site where the site itself covers the basics of photoshop ..

in fact what you might do is setup a folder in your browser to place all your favorites shop links and maybe, like i do, i save the webpages and the videos to my hard drive..

If you know anyone who does a free photoshop tutorial through IM using any messenger, please let me know. Sometimes I get confused following the instructions or I couldn't follow the hardest part of the tutorial. The help section of my CS2 wouldn't open (Adobe Updater couldn't be accessed and it kept asking me to re-install the whole Adobe Photoshop CS2 and its components).

I do save the links of webpages that contains free Photoshop CS2 tutorial on a soft notepad so I could have a saved reference file but, I needed someone to actually explain it in basics once the tutorial becomes advanced.

Thanks for replying :)

hi,
I don't know anyone who does online IM training... but maybe we can work around it....

if your having a a problem at a specific point in a tutorial if you can give the link of the tutorial then address it in the board here then we can maybe help you thru it.

do you have a good understanding of the tools? I know it took me awhile really to understand certain tools and features and techniues ... that why i save the webpages and video's .. smiling.

also you might take a look at this link... although it about working with cars all the tutorials there can apply to any aspect of editing.. and there simple to understand...
http://www.digimods.co.uk/tutorials/tutorials.htm
they also have a brief discription of the tools pallette.. but i believe it for cs1.. and you have cs2 so it may not show a couple tools that you have in cs2
