I had a text layer that I rasterized and made into a shape to add gradients and a texture. I now want to make it into a 3d object like block text. It is not letting me do this. Does any one know why? It says something about needing to convert to text or make a layer mask. I cannot figure it out. Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.

I tried that and it says "You are trying to convert the Current Selection and there is no Current Selection." Not sure why it says that...
