Do you think the font plays an important part of the image/web page? What will be best to use - as many fonts as you want or to use 1-2 fonts at the most?

Typically the human eye likes simple looks. I tend to personally get lost when I see more than two fonts.
If there is a clutter I skip to the next page/graphic.

The use of Fonts/Typography, is very important. It makes or breaks the whole design in my opinion, and is just as important at the actual graphical elements. I'm saying use only two main fonts. |

yep
I too agree with slinki
you must concentrate on font as much you do it on design
Its gonna be the best part of all your design to make it a success
and i also feel its the hardest part of all as i spend around a couple of hrs in selecting a font

so when u take a view abt an image frist thing take ur eyes the font

I usually use at LEAST 10-12 fonts per design.

Well....according to me font is important but try to restrict your font use to 2 fonts or 3 as in the professional websites designers and users try to make the website simpler and professional and rather than mess up.
and its gud habit to use two fonts so that u can easily differinate between the headings and pharagraph
