Hello all-
I followed the instructions in this tutorial
http://www.recipester.org/Recipe:Create_halo_effect_in_Photoshop_39897211
and got the halo effect but my background went from white to red. I purposely used the same image as the tutorial. I had tried this with another photo with a black background with the same results. Quite frustrated... Confused I have attached before and after pix. Using CS5.

OS: win7 pro 64 bit, i7-3.2g, GTS 450,

hi,
check your forground pallet color it probably red...
just change it to black and thend o the tutorial

As you can see I'm a newbie- although I used PS a long time ago, need to refresh memory!!
