Hi,

I made both BMP and PNG icons for windows taskber with photoshop.

Both loks fine in photoshop but when they come in taskber, transparency dosn't look good.

Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hi masim,
First off, do you have the icons saved as layers still?

That is always a must. Also, could you post images so we can see them to get a better idea?

Hi masim,
maybe I'm the only one, but in my personal experience when I try things for web with a transparent background I never seem to get the look I want. I usually fill the background of my image with the exact background color of where it will be placed .... then I know EXACTLY what it will look like where it will be used.
You could try that .... one of the reasons I think is that your image or any image that does not have squared/straight edges just doesn't look good using a transparent background when it gets used on/in something else.
I'm sure that if I'm wrong someone else will come along and correct me.
Just try putting the background color in your image and see if that doesn't fix your problem.
