Photoshop 7 to PS CS4

I am new to CS4 and skipped everything in between from 7. I have a few files created in 7 that I can not open on the new format. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make these active on CS4? PLEASE help!

Hey there,

I can't remember if V7 had the maximise compatibility option, if it has, go to the preferences and use the option where it asks you what to do when saving. Save the psd file with another name and turn maximise compatibility.

You could also try saving as a layer TIFF
