Im going to be starting photography classes to get my AA in fall. So i decided it would be a good idea to learn photoshop.
I have messed around with it for hours and hours and more hours. Yet i still dont get it at all. Not even the basics.
I have Photoshop CS5 and Paint Pro 9 ..
Any and all help is greatly appreciated thanks in advance |

Well i dont know where to start really.
What would be the best thing to start learning as a beginner? |

Check your local library and look for a book on Photoshop. A book on any version will do, to learn the basics. |

Hi,
I would start with playing with the filters. Go to filters, choose artistic and then choose one of the selections. (have an image open to use the filter on) Play with that for a while. Yes, a beginners photoshop book would be great. I have taken college classes in PS and still only use a fraction of the possibilities. |

Also there's alot of clips on Youtube just type in "Photoshop"
