				I have heard that when you edit a picture in photoshop, that once it's saved the original picture is still in the file somewhere, I'm pretty sure they were talking about flattetned jpg's. is there any truth to this?  |

				If the picture was saved as a .psd file and the original background layer was not altered in any way then the original photo will still be there. If it was saved as a jpeg then you can not retrieve the original photo.  |

				If it's saved as a .jpg due to it's compression some of the original pixels have gone unfortunately forever!
