Short answer: No.
Longer answer: No, because Photoshop, as well as virtually every other product not specifically designed as "portable," makes extensive use of the Registry, each of which is particular to a given machine. Furthermore, it registers a ton of dlls and other libraries with the system, and these would not be available on the other system. Finally, if you're using a version which requires activation, even if the above wasn't true (it is), your activation would not work on the target machine.
That's three strikes, but take heart. Adobe will let you install as many copies as you want, and activate up to two, IIRC, and use either as long as only one copy is in use at a time. So, you can have a copy on your desktop and another on your laptop, both activated, and as long as you only work on one at a time, you're golden.
In no event will an installed version be capable of installing on another machine. That is not how it works. |
