I don't really agree. Its a tough thing to do. If they give the option, that's the best thing anyone can do.

the default should be set to what is undustry standard
if you want different you should change the options

not have to go into options to have it like you are used to

options? since it depends on what it is how i want to open it i like the possibility of choosing how to open it when i click on it. In windows you can only choose 'open in new window'. I prefer it this way.

no no no
this isnt about the options
this is about if you use a third party program like yahoo and say you want to look at a profile
in IE it would open a new window, but in firefox unless you set it that way, it will instead change the url of a preexisting window

I use firefox cause it looks niver the tabs are nice, and i like to take a little advantage away from microsoft. I have to say, I like windows, and I don't have anythign against microsoft, but i don't like them owning every peice of software on my machine.

Also IE 6 now has a popup blocker if you have sp2, but I really love firefox, and its not slower image loading. Fire fox give you the page as it loads, and IE hold it all back until its totally done, they really take about the same amount of time.

It's not a war. It is an unimportant, insignificant conversation. It is best if people just post what browser they like and why, possibly, without purposely trashing others. Thanks.

It's hard to stick up for IE and NOT end up debating with a lot of people. ;)
