Hi I have been googling for over an hour now trying to find out how to blend several images to make soft edges between each other.

Example: .

All I have come up with super impose other images onto each other or feather around the edges.

Appreciate any suggestions, thanks[/img]
Yes I have seen this tutorial in every search I did and tried following its directions but every time I applied the gradient it would delete pixels .. make one of the photo edges transparent. I read it 3 times and tried 3 times with always the same result. I know I am missing some little thing.

Make sure all the different photos are on different layers to each other.

Using the gradient tool in a layer mask shouldn't delete any pixels it should only mask them.

Try using a brush in the layer mask if gradient tool isn't helping you.
Go into the channel tab and turn on the layer mask channel visibility to view the mask being applied.

Hi Thanks for your response, I figured it out and feel sorta dumb. The problem lay with the fact that the images were not overlapping each other enough.
