hi,
could you give a few more details...? what happens when you try to open a image? any error notifications or what???

normally there shouldn't be any problems unless you loading a image that not supported by photoshop... canyou load other images in photo shop or is it just ones from google and i assume from your camera that you can't open.?

hi

sounds like your ps won't open that file extention... you may have download a thumbnail instead of the file itself... and that why it not opening... can't open thumbnails...

take a look at the fullfile name and give us the extention.... the 3 letters after the period...

a file name will look somethinglike this.. filename.xxx

the x' to the right is the extention and it maybe psd or jpg or doc or xrt etc .... but we need to know that ..

Photoshop is capable of opening PNG files. See if it's possible to get other software to open it - Word, IE Explorer, Firefox should all be able to open a PNG file. If these can't open the file either then the file is probably not a valid PNG file (i.e corrupt).
