hello,
i found this architectural rendering online and was immediately attracted to the sensibility of the image.
could someone please assist me in figuring out how the quality of the image was produced and provide quick pointers?
(transparencies, blending modes, saturation levels)

i assume this was all done with photoshop?

That's funny, just a few minutes ago I posted this question looking to learn how to do this style in another forum.

Here is basically what I said and here are the images I attached as links to show examples. I too am interested in learning how to do this sort of glowing and transparent effect.

Help anyone?

What I am looking for is something you would see in a lot of the competition panels professional architectural firms submit.

It's pretty common for architecture concepts to be presented this way. It's typically just a rough concept though, something kind of out there, to inspire what the actual building will look like. I don't know if you're looking to see the exact numbers for transparencies and such, but basically take ur 3D object, render it at the angle you'd like it placed on the scene where it's going, and then bring it into photoshop. Probably use a slight blur (0.2) to composite it into the scene, then adjust brightness/contrast to match the exposure. Use some stock or maybe a tree brush or something to add foliage/concept landscaping around it. And a few stock images of people and transparency them, motion blur on a few, all to get a composition that you like.
