No problem. Just post the next steps and I will try them. The thing about doing this excerise is I am learning alot more things I can do also. The last one is a good one. Now you will have to tell me how to get those pictures in the message like you do.

Now with our ‘new file’ the only file open in Photoshop we’ll start working on the animation.

Step 1: Let’s open the animation workspace … go to Window/Animation and you should then see something like this

You’ll notice that the file being shown is the TOP LAYER in your file, that is (normally) layer 8

Step 2: Click on the eye for each layer EXCEPT for layer 1 and you should have something like this

Step 3: Duplicate Selected Frame by clicking the button marked by the arrow and you have something like this

Step 4: Turn OFF the eye for layer and turn ON the eye for layer 2 and you should have something like this

let me know when you get here and then we'll work on tweeners

Do not know what happened to your original post but aren't computers fun. I can get to that point and have all 8 layers in the animation window. I am ready.

I'm working on the next part and creating the images, but the next parts will take a mess of 'fiddling' to get it just the way you want it.

my e-mail is moondog830@hughes.net ... you can e-mail the pics to me there.

I am getting last minute things together for a wrestling tournament all day tomorrow and then going with our high school wrestling team to CMU (Central Michigan University) to watch their wrestling team (ranked 6th in the US) vs Nebraska (ranked 4th in the US) and Virginia Tech (undefeated and just outside the top 25) on sunday.

sorry, but couldn't pass up Sunday at $3.00 per person and then HAVE to watch our son wrestle in Saturday's tournament.

Mark
