I am with you for awhile. I do not have that ruler thing around my workspace. How do I get that??? I have all the photos loaded and background checked as you said.

Hi John,
My bad, I have to stop assuming your work area is set up exactly like mine.
To get the ruler CTRL+R (that also works to get rid of the ruler when you want to)

when I have the photo in the crosshairs what do I do with it??? And them how do I bring the next photo up??

okay ... you have ONE PHOTO centered .... to get to the next one ... you simply click on another layer to use that layer.

If there are layers ABOVE that one, then you need to click each of the eyes so those layers are not seen

does this make sense to you

That makes sense but how does the photo stay in the center . Do I just stack them on top of one another.

Now I got 2 lines on the photo. How do I go back and get rid of the lines.

Once you get done centering each layer, what we are going to do is take and copy each layer and put them in a new file to insure that each image is centered.

So, once you center a layer, just click on the next layer and center that one and then on to the next until all 8 layers are centered.

you have 2 lines on the photo? what color are the lines?

I got that part. But what happened is the cross hatch lines stayed. I clicked on another photo and it wound up in the center but I went and draged another line across and when I released the left click it stayed there and now there is 2 lines on the horizontal portion and they are a smidge apart. Need to get rid of the second line I guess.

using the move tool ..... when you hover over a blue line you'll see the tool split (not sure how else to explain it) and that means if you click the left mouse button and hold it down you can move it .... drag it back to the ruler (top or bottom doesn't matter) and release and it will be gone.

Let me know when you've got all the pictures centered and all and we'll continue
